The 7 clan families
Each clan brings its own damage mechanic and its own set of emblems. Every clan gets the same 7 core emblems and 4 tier-2 upgrades; what differs is how deep the tier-3 tree runs — from Ravager's 7 down to Chain's single one.

What is Tears of Metal?
Tears of Metal is a co-op roguelike brawler from Paper Cult, in Steam Early Access since 2026-07-22. You lead a warband of ancient clans, rescue allies, and stack emblems into a build across a run.
